Why do people have to pee?
I really hate the smell of wee
Fresh wee, stale wee
Your wee, my wee
Oh why do people have to pee?I dread to hear that plaintive plea
‘I’m desperate to have a wee’
Why can’t you cross your legs for longer?
Can’t I be a little stronger?
Oh I dread to hear that plaintive pleaI wonder if I’ll ever be free
from the sight and smell of wee
I think that I will go quite mad
if I change another pad
Oh when oh when will I be free?How I wish that I could flee
from that awful smell of wee
I wish I didn’t fuss and fret
just because the bedding’s wet
Oh how I wish that I could fleeGoing to have a cup of tea
and dream I’m on the deep blue sea
Or lying on a golden beach
where nasty smells cannot reach
I’m going to have a cup of teaWhy do people have to pee?

Fri 4 Jul 2008 20:41today I was talking to a friend who goes camping and that very subject came up in our converstation.
When she goes camping she takes a bucket to save nightly trips to the toilets across the campsite. That was until she heard one of her neighbouring tents getting up through the night and could hear the splish splash into the bottom of the bucket.
So I shall be passing on to her your poem as I think she will appreciate your humour talent which you have there
