Adult Placement

Although I have been waiting over a year with the chance to have adult placement paid for through the ILF then the local SS have failed to find anybody. I was told that the cost covered a 24 hour period, yet when I went to see the only person on offer for this job, was told they only do nights as they work and that would be 12 hours. So great whilst my caree sleeps they get paid , but when it comes to the hardest part they get rid, but still expect 24 hour pay. As this AP seems to be a new concept to the area then most of social services seem to have no idea about it, and yet the woman who came to discuss it said it covered 24hours hours . Anyone have any knowledge as all the powers that be are conflicting, if they dont know what they are doing then how are we expected to ?
