Can anyone help??

I have been caring for my disabled mother for many years now and am in reciept of carers allowance, income support and am on her housing benefit as I cannot work. I am getting married next year and want to know how this will affect my benefits. My fiance works part time but still will not be able to work as I will be caring for my mother so nothing will have changed except I have got married. I have phoned CAB and also another legal advice line and have got conflicting advice so can anyone help? I think I will probably loose my income support but want to know how much if any housing benefit I will loose. Thanks in advance

Wed 29 Aug 2007 00:08Hi Danni, if you go to the www.welfarerights.net site they will answer your question and also let you know if there are any extra things you could be eligiable for. You dont have to divulge your name/ excellent site and easy to use.
