Carer/caree help needed

Hi all,
My OH wants to send the following letter to the Prime minister but would like to know if other carers/carees agree with it and would be willing to post it on other sites, before he sends it. The name on it is Chiseltooth as that is his email address.Mr. Brown,
It will probably not be you who reads this . You should listen to what I say though.
The carers and carees of this country are disgusted that the government can not see the money that you save by not having to pay qualified nurses 24 hours a day for 7 days a week. I am a caree and you, who are supposedly, the peoples party can not give a reasonable wage to the carers who have to be ready at any time of the day to help.
My carer gets £49 a week yet works 168 hours a week. How much do you pay a nurse over that period? The carers are like specialist nurses in the disability that they are involved in, yet you have no problem ignoring them.
At the moment I am on a crusade to find every carer that I possibly can and urge them and their carees not to vote for you at the next general election. Have you any idea how many people this is and how many have agreed? Have you any idea how many people would change their vote because of this?
Yet you bail out Northern Rock with £55m and prosecute a war in both Iraq and Afganistan.
Look to your own country first. This is the place that you are in power to help. It is us that you answer to, not us that answers to you!
I also intend to email this letter to the opposition parties, national and local newspapers and post it on various carer/caree websites.Yours in disgust,
Chiseltooth.

Sat 26 Apr 2008 21:18Please post and let us know if you support this action.
If we do not get enough support from other carers then there is going to be no point to this letter, as it wont have the punch that is needed.

Unfortunately I can not give the address for either the cons or labour as apparently it has to be sent through the "proper" channels. Brown is on the labour site as messages to no ten and you will have to go to the cons site as well. If there is anyone else you wish to send it to, be my guest.
The more we bombard them the more there is a reason for them to take notice,

Mon 28 Apr 2008 18:53Good on you GW,
But how can we get the actual PM to read and respond to letters?
On occasion when I have written regarding various issues, It is always some menial who replies 'on behalf of'!

Tue 29 Apr 2008 11:51The mirror group have agreed to run it if they get enough response from others.
The only way we can guarentee the PM hearing of it is to bombard his office and as many others as possible.
