Sat 9 Feb 2008 16:16What would I use? A tea cup. Whether it is bone china, with a saucer, a pottery mug, or plastic with a spout and second handle, we all enjoy a good cup of tea or coffee, and it makes so much difference to any disabled person when you spend the time making and giving them a nice cup of tea. It gives them the closeness of you for a little while, and is an opportunity for you to relax a bit and take a deep breath. Never underestimate the disabled persons need for your closeness.

Sat 9 Feb 2008 17:14The snuggle blanket does it for me, every time, although a cup of tea is also a good idea
Take care
