After 37 years at it I already know I am an expert carer, so maybe somebody from the PRTC can explain how this £5 million will make my life any better?

There are no answers because as you and I know it will not make an iota of difference, anymore than this plea for donations for us or as I see it begging and who out there has so far had any help from it ? anybody. Makes you wonder doesnt it ?

Thanks for your reply- I was beginning to think I had BO!!--but then we all know that as far as the charities are concerned all carers have BO!!!!

We used to give to chairty - cannot afford to now - and we got undreds of requests from everyone. 3 yrs ago I rang one up, apologising for not being able to contribute any more, but we were in need ourselves and could they help us? We heard nothing more, their letters stopped. It works with others too. I know it is naughty, but I think the charity money with some are not helping those who need it. We get requests from one for elderly people who showed case studies of people they help, yet when last summer I asked them for help they said they did not take on individual cases! Then Christmas we get a leaflet for money!
