No wonder your nervous Simone.
See how things happen quite suddenly from just writing to the politics show. I'll look forward to watching that. I'm sure you'll do just great.

Perhaps we should aim for our own show based on Carers. Presented by Carers, for Carers. Now theres something you could ask Jon Sopel about! We could call it Carers Connect! Go for it Simone lol.

Well they surprised me. They are coming this afernoon. Spoke to the Carers Society this morning and they told me to keep it Neutral because it could be turned against us. I am hoping that it won't be solely about me because my situation is not as bad as others out there.Well it be probably be a matter of minutes but it is a start.

Thought I would let you know how it went. Unfortunately questions at me were not for Carers in general but about my life. They were here an hour but they told me that they will edit it for only 2 mins. When you get asked questions your mind goes blank and you don't always say the hundreds of things you need to say. After a few minutes I felt more comfortable.The last question they wanted me to answer wanted it short but to the point.What would you like the government to do. In one sentence I could only say Listen to the Carers.The only thing I hope is that they will print the email that I sent as that had a list of things. Oh well there may be another chance because I did say to them I wanted this about Carers but they told me that they wanted to cover about Holly.I will continue to try and find more sites.lets hold together and keep going.

Hi Simone

You did well and don't worry about how you got on. We had the BBC in a few months ago interviewing us about Crossroads. They were in for over 2 hours and we were only on for about 45 seconds - 30 seconds of Mary in Gaelic and 15 seconds of me in English! Despite that they were really nice and we got a reasonable hearing on the telly.

Don't give up and well done again.

Thanks Donald. The presenter got in touch and told me she has finisihed editing it and I came over well but we will see. However I asked her if she would put a few letters on the website and they have agreed including Holly's letter about what she feels about her education. we all have to make little steps but in the end if we all support each other they cannot ignore our voices for ever.Thanks for making me feel better.

thought I would put the link on site. go to latest program. Then go to the end of the program. Holly and I are at the end for 1 min 38 seconds. Shame they asked me about my situation but it was good and I was happy with it. A lot of people from church had seen it and tonight it is being shown in a pub. Someone apparently taped it. I am not going out.

Hi Lulu thanks for that. I didn't even want to watch it at first. Scared that I made a hash of things. I appreciate your comment.You couldn't hear the questions they were asking me otherwise it could have been better but I had to answer her questions.Not cover what I wanted to say.
