when i had dan( no before i had dan) i always said if i had a child that had something wrong i wouldnt want the child to live iwas 23 what did i know my second child son downs wouldnt live heart defects wouldnt walk what chance did he have one chest infection after another christened in hospital
did i mention they dannyboys as i call downs were called mongols the week i had dan the headline in the daily mirror was mongol left in hospital i knew how that mum felt thats i was i did eveything to keep away from his cot then they told me he was a mongol wouldnt walk wouldnt talk i went home with danny to prove them wrong 37 years later hes the local celebrity loved by all many tears have been shed along the way both tears of joy and sadness when hes ill is this it then he bounces back im waffling sorry i have another son as well i have had 3 wonderful individual children im very lucky to have kept the 3 of them for this longi hope this makes sense but everybody in this world is entightled to think and feel as they pleasethey should be encouraged and supported what ever the decision they make the support should be given freely with no strings going now eileen
