Hello mrs mike, welcome to carers Smile emoticon i joined just last week.
im Elaine 46 and care for my 13year old son Adam. Small piece of advice but i dont want to sound patronizing, you are way way too young to take on the role as a carer without some kind of help or assistance from somewhere Yes emoticon You make sure you ask for help when you need it Yes emoticon actually not just you but hubby too ok?. Both of you visit live chat cause i gorra tell ya the people on there (no matter what problems thay have) will soon have you in stitches Laugh emoticon as well as give the odd bit of advice. To be honest this site will change something in you, coming here is better than a night out with the girls cause everyone is in a similar position to you and knows how quick things can change day to day. Hope to see you there Smile emoticon Smile emoticon Smile emoticon

i no im young an it is getting a bit to much for me i feel like im banging my head against a brick wall about the morphine but we will see at 5 o clock today what the consultant says

well when the consultant came he told her that he didnt want to have it again but didnt explain why he has been perscribed kapake now and has 2 tablets each dialysis thats all hes doing really well hes in the middle of being transferd to our local hospital (tameside general) from hope hospital because at the moment we travel 20 miles to hope hospital and 20 miles back 3 times a week for dialysis i have to go with him as he cant walk very well but hes not allowed visiters while dialising so i have to sit in the waiting room for him for 5 hours at a time so i cant wait for the transfer to happen least i will be in a place i no eh

polly to me it dosnt matter how old you are everyone needs suport thank you for your nice thoughtful coments its words like yours that keeps us going my uncle was a blind diabetic renal patient he died 10 years ago he was 32 he still lived at home with my gran so i no that its hard work for you i just want to say thanks for the support and all the best to you aswell xxx Smile emoticon
