family fund...how long?

i posted my family fund form about 2 weeks ago and not heard anything yet im just wondering if anyone knows how long it takes for them to either tell me they omin to visit or to tell me i cant have it?

Last time I applied to the family fund which was Aug 2007 I got a text message through my mobile phone saying that they had received my application and would take approximately three months. It did take just over three months to hear back from them.
If this is your first application you may need to have a home visit. Many years ago when I had my home visit the girl who came out was more than helpful and I got loads more than I had applied for but as the years went on the funding got less and less. Maybe it was due to my son getting older or due to the increase in applications but it is something I will never really know why.
