All.
I have been reading some of your stories which have touched me so so deeply especially those of you who seem to have found yourselves falling into a bottomless pit.
May I suggest that all that you have written on this site be printed off and posted to Princess Anne c/o of her Private Secretary? Her address is as follows:

I shall be writing to her myself (all post to The Royal Family is opened by their Private Secretaries but I am sure Princess Anne will read as many as she can).

I'll go with that! Can anyone get the message to the numerous other org.s involved.Be an interesting exercise to have a section on this website for all those who correspond to register (anon if you like) to gauge the response. Webmaster whaddaya fink!

Mon 26 Nov 2007 20:18Someone suggested writing to their MP, I am at my wits end with writing to people such as MP's, I've wrote to my MP been down to see Tony Cunningham, wrote to Gordon Brown, David Cameron AND THEY JUST DO NOT WANT TO KNOW. ALL THEY WANT IS TAXING US TO DEATH, GIVING CARERS AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE AND SITTING IN FANCY MEETINGS THAT COST THE HUMBLE TAXPAYERS THOUSANDS.....WE NEED MORE DIRECT ACTION UP AND DOWN THE COUNTRY SO WE GET OUR VIOCES HEARD OR THIS TIME NXT YEAR WE WILL BE STILL IN THE SAME PLACE AS WE ARE NOW...
I know how much the carers charity spent on a coneference as I used to work at Carlilse Racecourse where one of the regional conferences where.....and to rent the whole racecourse as a venue was not cheap... this was the Royal Trust for carers that held the regional conference this is were Appeal money for Carers is going.

Tue 27 Nov 2007 08:18I dont think anyone is naive , they live in hope, they have to , because hope is all we have anymore. All our dignity as carers has been gradually eroded, until we are made to feel useless and scroungers, like the unemployed, a lot of them not on the dole because they want to be. They wont work for a pittance, which is apparently what we are supposed to be doing. Well I wouldnt dignify CA a pittance. Its a slight smell of money passed under our noses and then grabbed away, by overlapping benefits. As if it isnt a small enough amount anyway. Those in ministerial posts must spend days laughing at us, we have MUG stamped all over us and they dont have to do a thing. They have their free labour, wouldnt you laugh if you had a free nurse, cleaner, cook etc etc You tell me why they need to do anything about us we are here. we are free, we dont spend NHS resources as we havent the time to use them. Then we pay for our own funerals.We are replaceable, the next MUG steps in.
