Caring for those who care
The Princess Royal Trust for Carers, Swindon Carers Centre is a not-for-profit charitable company originally established in 1981.

Among it's other activities, Swindon Carers Centre specialises in replacement care - that is enabling anyone looking after someone at home, who is unable to manage without help, to take time off from their caring role.

We can provide care for anything from half an hour to overnight, or longer, freeing the carer for a break without anxiety or worry.

Regular or occasional help can be provided, sometimes even at short notice, subject to staff being available. If we can, we will!

Care given is both practical and flexible and adapted to individual needs. Both personal care and light household tasks can be undertaken although we do not undertake housework only.

Our charges are competitive and individually tailored. We may be able to suggest help where costs are a problem; please let us know if you have any concerns.

We are able to give help in the home for people looking after someone with Alzheimer's Disease or dementia. Often the sufferer is reluctant to go out of the home for day care or a longer break, resulting in more work for the carer. Our home based Care Service enables a carer to have a break without anxiety.
