Time Out Events and Activities
Time Out Events and Activities are designed to give you a break from your caring role and allow you to have some 'me' time, give you a chance to meet with other Carers, relax and hopefully enjoy yourself.
The events and activities are organised by Carers Support North Wilts and are cost free. Funding is also available to help with sitting costs for the person you care for.
Past events have included:
A trip to the Theatre Royal in Bath to see Acorn Antiques, Cotswold River Cruise, a visit to Ikea in Bristol and a trip to Moreton-in-Marsh to see the largest open-air street market in the Cotswolds. We also held events throughout August for families with disabled children and children with learning difficulties. These were to include art and sports activities which the whole family could take part in together. Some of which took the opportunity to create a large family portrait which they painted after a photograph had been taken and simplified on the computer. There were also massage and beauty therapies available for parents to take advantage of while their children were busy with their chosen activities.
All events and activities have been a huge success.
