Hospital Liaison Worker

Hospital Liaison Worker based at the Eastbourne District General Hospital and the Hastings Conquest Hospital, who provides information, advice and support to carers whilst the person they care for is in the hospital, or they are accessing hospital services. The Hospital Liaison Worker meets with carers to discuss their situation confidentially and explore ways of dealing with difficulties that they may be facing. They can also liaise with ward staff, social workers, PALS and all hospital services to ensure that carers are fully informed and consulted about the care and treatment the patient is receiving, and are involved in the discharge process.
