Age Concern Berkshire is a voluntary organisation which offers a range of services to promote older people’s independence, choice and well-being.

They include Berkshire-wide advocacy and counselling services, befriending schemes which run in Reading and West Berkshire and home from hospital, which serves Reading, Wokingham and West Berkshire.

The handyperson scheme runs in Reading, Wokingham, Bracknell, West Berkshire and Sovereign Housing. (Some services may need a referral from social services).

Age Concern also provides confidential information and advice across Berkshire. Telephone advice is available weekdays from 10am – 4pm.
