May Kirkwood

Executive Officer - Carer Support

May has worked at the Centre for over 11 years and manages our Carer Support service. She has a wealth of experience in offering information, advice and support to Carers. She actively supports Carers to ensure they know their rights and entitlements to community care and Carers assessments.

May has an indepth knowledge of the welfare benefits system and supports Carers with applications for their benefits entitlement - this helps ensure the income within the family unit is maximised.

Jane Malcolm

Young Carers Education Officer

Jane joined our team in July 2006 having been a teacher for six years.

Jane's role is to identify and support Young Carers throughout schools in Stirling Council area; to help them achieve their potential and to raise awareness of Young Carers' issues with school staff and pupils.

Shelagh Norris

Information & Admin Officer

Shelagh joined the organisation in July 2008. Shelagh has a wealth of experience in providing a range of information services. She ran her own business in helping people with a hearing impairment return to work.
Shelagh's role is to provide quality information to Carers and professionals who work with Carers. She produces our Information Pack and runs information sessions.

Angela Reynolds

Carer Support Officer

Angela has been supporting Carers at the Centre for over 5 years.
She is experienced in helping Carers in their caring role by providing informtion, advice, practical and emotional support and help with welfare benefit entitlement.

Moira C Taylor

Chief Executive Officer

Moira has been the CEO for 9 years and was previously Director of a charity in Edinburgh. She has a background in financial services and training and was previously a Training Manager specialising in management training and development. She is a Performace Coach.

Moira is responsible for the management of the Centre, its staff and volunteers and for the quality of services provided. She liaises with key funders and accesses funding opportunities to develop services for Carers.
