Carers Support Services
The Respite Development Service aims to provide new ways for Carers and the person they care for to take Short Breaks to ensure the experience is enjoyable for both.
As well as rewarding it can be extremely demanding physically and emotionally. It may eventually have a detrimental effect on a carer's health and as a consequence may also affect their ability to continue caring. To reduce the risk of caring related illnesses and to prevent isolation it is vital carers are given help to enable them to "take a break", with peace of mind, knowing the person they care for is being well looked after and enjoying themselves.
Our services include:
- Home Companion Service
- Home Companion Service (Dementia)
- Day Clubs
- Group Holidays
