The Princess Royal Trust Lanarkshire Carers Centre

Training Opportunities

Princess Royal Trust Lanarkshire Carers' Centre is committed to the principle of carers as key partners in the provision of care and believes cares must be resourced with quality training to help them sustain their caring role.

Funded through North and South Lanarkshire's Carer Strategy Budgets, an annual training programme is organised and delivered on a locality basis in response to carer's identified need.

The training programme covers three main areas: Coping with the caring role, Health and Well Being and Educational opportunities.

Current training programmes are available in the Centre and are widely distributed through our mailing list.

The training budget may also be accessed by carers who wish to attend relevant conferences or seminars. All such requests must be made to Centre before booking as budgetary restrictions apply.
