Helena Kelman, South Lanarkshire Carer Resource Worker was invited in October 2007 by Jane Reid, Manager from the Department of Work and Pensions to assist a project team to help improve services to Carers.

On the 29th of January, Helena and the Project Team travelled to London to meet with Terry Moran, Chief Executive of the Pensions Service and other Senior Managers at Whitehall to present a number of proposals.
