The Princess Royal Trust Lanarkshire Carers Centre

Caretalk and Caremail

Sometimes it's difficult for carers to take time out to attend groups or meetings. The Carers Centre provides alternative support.

CARETALK
Caretalk is a regular friendly telephone call from a volunteer who has personal experience of a caring role, therfore they understand it's not always easy tot talk to family or friends. The phone call is informal but provides a vital link with the Centre that will keep you up to date on new initiatives and developments. If you are interested in Caretalk call us on 01698 428090 and we will try to arrange your call for a time that suits you.

CAREMAIL
Caremail provides a caring support link to another Carer by post. Carers can find that their free moments come when there are no Support Groups or when the Centre is closed. Anytime is a good time to write a letter and it's always great to receive news from someone who is in the same position as you. Through Caremail you can be involved with others who understand the stresses and demands of caring and who will enjoy sharing in your good news. You don't have to leave home to make contact with other carers meet them by mail with Caremail. The Centre will ensure your privacy and only put you in touch with other Carers known to us.
