The Princess Royal Trust West Lancashire Carers Centre

Carers Emergency Card

The Carers Emergency Card is a scheme specifically for Carers in West Lancashire. Provided in Partnership with West Lancashire District Council, the scheme gives peace of mind for Carers worried about what will happen to the person they care for if they have an accident, are unwell, or otherwise waylaid in the course of busy lives.

Carers who register will receive a card with a unique reference number on but no personal details. If a Carer has an accident, or is unable to get home, or to a day centre, the West Lancashire Warden service can be contacted, and an action plan put into operation to make sure the Cared-for person is safe.

The staff at the Carers Centre will help Carers fill out the registration form, and the service is entirely free to Carers.

Contact the Carers Centre for more details.
