Caring Companions Club
With support from Social Services, there are two clubs in operation one on Monday evenings at the Prescot Guildhall and the other on Thursday evenings in the R.A.F.A.Club, Broad Lane, Kirkby. The clubs run from approx 7.30pm to 11.00pm and are open to both carer and cared for and provide an opportunity for them to enjoy a happy social atmosphere and meet fellow carers.
Should any carer want to take part in these activities but does not wish, or is unable, to bring the person they care for along, a sitting service in their own home can be provided.
