Carers Leeds

Advice and Support Service

Carers Leeds provides confidential support, information and advice to Carers. This service is available at our city centre office, in other places across Leeds and in a Carer’s own home. Support, information and advice are provided by our team of Carers Support Workers. All support workers are experienced information and advice workers who can give basic advice on benefits for disability and caring, help with completing forms and help in dealing with problems that may arise. The support workers are also experienced in offering emotional support and listening to issues that a Carer may wish to explore.

Carers can:

  • Talk to a Support Worker in confidence on the telephone Mon-Fri between 9.30am - 4.00pm.
  • Drop in to our central Leeds office to see a Support Worker on Tue / Wed / Thurs / Fri between 9.30am - 3.30pm.
  • Meet a Support Worker at a Carers Leeds social event – see section on Social and Leisure Events for more information.
  • See a Support Worker for one-to-one support by appointment at our central Leeds office or in their own home
  • Meet a Support Worker by arrangement at a familiar setting such as a Day Centre or Community Centre
