NEW FREE Carers Emergency Card for all carers
What happens if you are out shopping and have an accident or are taken ill and are rushed into hospital? If you are unconscious, the staff at the hospital won’t know there is someone who relies on you waiting at home.
All of Islington’s carers are invited to apply to us for a free Carers Emergency Card.
The card states that the cardholder is a carer and that someone relies on them. There is room on the card to list two alternate carers and their phone numbers and asks that they are contacted in case of emergency.
Islington Carers Forum will laminate the card for you to keep it safe and clean.
