Carers Action Group

This is an opportunity to 'have your say' and it really is listened to. This group have been very vocal and their comments have influenced the Carers Strategy, which is a three year document that London Borough of Harrow will produced with their Action Plans to implement, and improve services.

This group have contributed to the development of:

• Carers Information packs
• Carers needs assessments being improved and implemented in the borough
• Review of home care charges
• Finding hidden carers - developing the project with pharmacists
• Hospital Discharge Pack - distributed at Northwick Park Hospital

To join this group simply phone in and let us know that you want to be put on the mailing list. They meet two, three or maybe four times a year. If you can't make meetings we'll happily take your comments along if you just phone them in.
