Volunteers and staff from many organsations in Barnet came together on Thursday 5th June at North london Business Park to celebrate the first Barnet Community Volunteer Awards. organised by Barnet Voluntary Services Council.
The ceremoney was attended by 80 people including Councillor John Marshall, the mayor of Barnet and was attended by 10 of Barnet Carers Centres regular volunteers who were all presented with a certificate for doing over 100 hours of voluntary work in the past year. In total 40 volunteers from the Centre were honored on the day.
