We have Big News of changes here at
Barnet Carers Centre.
We are planning to move, in the near future, to an exciting new premises in North Finchley!
Our change of location to this highly visible and prominent site will raise our profile and that of
carers considerably and allow us to expand and improve all of the services that we currently provide as well as enabling us to add new ones including:
* A Coffee Shop serving light refreshments and snacks, run by staff and volunteers
* Therapy rooms on site to provide more complimentary
therapies to our Carers. Including Relaxation days and evening.
* Meeting rooms that can hold up to 100
people, so we can hold our social events and conferences and run larger support groups, information and training sessions.

We are very excited about this move as it will open up many more opportunities for both carers and former carers in terms of employment,volunteering and training.We will run the café and therapy services with a mixture of part time staff and volunteers and offer a range of delicious cakes, snacks and drinks to eat in or take away.
We will also be able to offer both carers and the public a comprehensive range of therapies on site in our own therapy rooms.
We are currently embarking on a fundraising Campaign to raise funds for the big move.
You may have seen our thermometer at the Centre measuring our fundraising progress so you can watch with interest as it rises as we eventually reach our target!
We are all greatly looking forward to this exciting new venture and providing you, our carers, with an even better,improved, more comprehensive service and being able to reach out and be more visible to hidden carers in Barnet.
