Public Participation & Liason Project
Working with staff teams in local GP surgeries and their patients the project looks at the need to shape services around the patients, their families and carers. It encourages recognition of the different needs of differing populations and the importance of providing open access to information about services, treatment and performance
A local network to support Patient Groups, the Peterborough Patient Group Network, has been set up. It meets by monthly, giving the opportunity for patents to meet and share experiences. The network also supports groups individually, can provide training, information and arranges joint recruitment events.
