Samaritans

Paul, a volunteer from the Samaritans, joined us to talk to carers who were finding things a bit tough. The Samaritans are most well known for helping those who have reached the end of the road, but they also provide a friend in times of need.

Royal College Of Psychiatrists

Shelia Hollins, President of the Royal College of Psychiatrists - 30 March 2006
A Professor of Psychiatry of Learning Disability at St. George's, University of London and President of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, Sheila aimed to give the carers of people with learning disabilities or mental health problems a chance to discuss their concerns and experiences and to seek advice.
