Our Chief Executive

Liz Fenton

Liz joined The Trust as its Chief Executive in May 2011. Prior to this, she had been Chief Executive of Care for the Carers, a Carers’ Centre in East Sussex, since 2005.

Carers have always been close to Liz's heart. Liz has held senior management roles at Hastings & Rother PCT and East Sussex, Brighton and Hove Health Authority. She was also Chief Executive of Voluntary Action Westminster for 15 years, during which time she was a founder member of Westminster Carers Service. Prior to this, she worked in the private sector for 10 years.

Liz has been actively involved with The Trust acting as vice chair of The Trust’s UK Partnership Council. She currently acts as an ‘expert advisor’ on carers to the Department of Health.
