Anne Roberts, Chief Executive of Crossroads Care will become the interim Chief Executive of Carers Trust until August 2012, seeing through the changes which need to be made in order to develop the new organisation.
This provides continuity and will ensure the high standards of service offered to carers and Network Partners is maintained.Crossroads Care has been a central part of Anne’s life for many years - ever since she ran a local service in Chepstow a long time ago, to the last ten years spent working with the Crossroads Care Association, nine of those as CEO.
Anne says “It has been an amazing opportunity to work with you and to be part of an organisation that really does make a difference to the lives of carers and the people they care for”.
Anne has developed a very close relationship with The Princess Royal Trust for Carers, and has worked with passion vigour and commitment with colleagues across both organisations to see through this merger to benefit the lives of carers. She says
“I'm looking forward to the next 5 months and being able to help develop Carers Trust.
I know the new organisation is right for the future and will be able to build on the experience and expertise of Crossroads Care, The Princess Royal Trust for Carers and all of the independent local Network Partners”.
