Hi everyone,
It has been a lovely day today here. Mild and the sun has shone all day. I went out into my back garden and was surprised and delighted to find all my trees are starting to bud. The forsythia is getting green leaves on it and all the roses are budding too.
Spring is coming - I cannot wait. Everything in the garden is waking up.

Sat 6 Feb 2010 17:18Nice here today too Bubbles - our snowdrops have not shown their faces this year though, but the lilac tree is in bud - still very waterlogged & muddy out there - the garden resembles a football pitch!

Re: Spring is on the horizon!!!!!!!
Sun 7 Feb 2010 18:52When the snow eventually melted, lo and behold the snowdrops appeared - a real miracle how do they thrive under the snow? However more snow forecast this week so spring is staying round the corner for a wee while yet.

Re: Spring is on the horizon!!!!!!!
Sun 7 Feb 2010 21:48I think we have sprung a leek today Doug as its drizzled all day and is murky and cold!!!!!!
I live in Essex Woodstock so have had it a lot milder than up north. I have heard more snow is on its way but not for my area more the eastern and middle part of the country I think.
