my name is Lisa and i look after my 16 year old daughter 24/7. welcome to this site and i hope you find it useful. Its nice to know that there is somewhere you can come to chat to like minded people and realise that you are not going mad!! Big grin emoticon I am not on much in the week due to my caring and other commitments, but i am sometimes in the chat room on a friday night. Feel free to drop in any time for a chat.

Hi Doug,
I've also just signed on, so 'Hi' to everyone too. I've never been on a site like this either. I'm hoping that it helps the isolation. There are days when I feel as if I'm going mad! I've been caring for my mother, who is almost 92 years old and has Alzheimers, for 10 years. She is physically still quite well, and spends the day pacing around 'doing things'. I never get a minute's peace and am feeling exausted. I guess most of you will understand.
Thanks,
mia
