Has anything ever happend to you which made your face go red and then reminded you of something else?
It happend to me today when shopping at a well known shop and one of the shop assistances was putting a milk trolley in place. He had just opend the cage door as I was passing so grabbed a carton of milk; only for the other two cartons next to the one which I picked up flew out of the cage and burst on their way down to the ground soaking the poor shop assistance and leaving a huge milk puddle on the floor.
A time when you just wished there was a huge hole in the ground to swollow you up. Of course it give the shop assitance a laugh and my timing could not of been any more perfect the shop was full of customers...................... Then it came to me I needed Crunchie Nut Cornflakes!

Re: needed a reminder?
Fri 8 Feb 2008 15:58Oh my best one yet is answering the door on a main road to my postman. Nice young man and me as usual still in my dressing gown hair uncombed. I said "one day you will call and I will actually have my clothes on". Just as a group of people walked past. Oops he went red but I just laughed, it was the highlight of my day. Sad isnt it when we lead such boring lives that this is all that makes us laugh.

Re: needed a reminder?
Fri 8 Feb 2008 16:48once, my daughter managed to get out of the house. I had to chase her up the road in my dressing gown with my hair wrapped up in a towel cos i had just washed it. To add insult to injury, a packed bus came round the corner and all the passengers were gawping at me!! oh the shame!

Re: needed a reminder?
Sat 9 Feb 2008 18:53pmsl loopy and tricia.
i guess there are too many magic moments like these for me to recount but the one that springs to mind is the first time i took eldest swimming, along with 8 month old (in buggy) and two young daughters (plus a mate and her 2 girls)
first , eldest went totally bonkers screaming with fear at the water, creating his own wave machine (which the other kids loved: scare him some more missus), then me realising youngest had temp and was screaming, had to drag eldest from pool where he was clinging on like a limpet as he decided he actually loved it and was never getting out....
as i was seeing to youngest (under my arm) eldest decicded to do,not one, not two,not even 3 but 5 poo's on the side of the pool.....
the attendent actually shouted for the other staff to come and see what he was doing lol left me to clear it up though, they were going "i aint doing it" "I did the last one" etc....
had to drag baby under my arm into boys loos (girls loos had no bog roll) and clear it all up as he went along doing more....
(bearing in mind baby was still screaming like billeo)on way to changing room he did another 3.
the manager came in the end to see if he could help (after it was all over, note) but i think he wanted me to just promise never to return.
actually i wanted to go home and kill myself!!!!!

Re: needed a reminder?
Sat 9 Feb 2008 20:36I was at a discount warehouse with my friend. They often had trollies there filled with cut price items. We saw one and delved in, examining each item. What a load of old rubbish we were saying, only to turn around to be faced by a rather irate woman who said in a stoney voice....EXCUSE ME...THAT IS MY TROLLEY.
Whooo we scuttled of and nearly wet our pants laughing

Re: needed a reminder?
Sat 9 Feb 2008 20:51many many years ago, before i met my hubby, i was seeing another bloke. one night we went to this well known beauty spot (say no more.....lol). I was desperate for a wee, so i got out the car and did a wee in the bushes. Bearing in mind i was rather drunk at the time, i weaved my way back to the car, opened the passenger door, and sat down. All good and well you may think, only i had got in a car that was exactly the same as ours but my boyfriends car was 3 cars up! i sat on a couple making love in the passenger seat
my boyfriend was wetting himself laughing at me
