Growing up too fast???

During a visit, my g/neice and the little boy from next door, (both 8 year olds) were telling me how they were going to be getting married!!
..and when will this be?, I asked
.. oh, well , not until we are ELEVEN!!
..ahhh.... said I, wise not to rush!!!
..Yes, they agreed. .. And when we have a girl, we'll call her "Angel".......and when we have a boy.... he'll be called.......
Titanic!!!!

Wed 15 Jul 2009 17:57When I was pregnant with George, Amelia was about8 and kept asking questions about how he got there. I bought this book from ELC called where do babies come from.
Well we read it together. There was this cartoon drawing of all these little sperms swimming towards the smiley egg.
The sperm that reached it had a big cartoony grin on its face, the others trailing behind were miserable faces.
After a bit she says 'dads had 3 sperms' 'Oh' say I, 'what do you mean'
Well she says theres steven tanya and that baby in your tummy.
So i delicately as I could explained that men have lots of sperms not just one at a time.
She goes off thinking....
a few minutes lter she stood in front of me, hands on hips and announces...
"Well 'E might have had more than 3 BUT he only had 3 'appy ones"

Wed 15 Jul 2009 22:00reminds me of the time when my neice who was 6 at the time, entered a fancy dress competition. It was judged by the lady mayoress. When she got to my niece she said "hello pretty little girl, who are you supposed to be?" " a pretty fairy" says our jo, "but mommy says i am a little shit"
needless to say, she didn't win ........
