Don't know how many are aware that you can get a card costing £5.50 - valid for 3 years - from the Cinema Exhibitors Association which entitles anyone in receipt of DLA or who is blind to take a carer free of charge to the cinema! Smile emoticon

These cinema cards are a god send if you go to the cinema more than once a year.

My daughter took my son to the pictures last Saturday morning and it was cheaper to go then than any other time of the week. They both got in to see the Increadable Hunk as my son calls it for just £4. My daughter had her student travel pass and my son had his travel pass to so cost nowt for getting there.

However, cost more for a bag of crisps and a drink of pop! Well would of done had she not put some in her bag and give them to her brother when they got into the pictures. Her brother has his drink in a drinks flask and she says if she ever gets pulled up she will just tell them it is a special drink due to his condition. i.e. if he had it in a cup with a straw he will be at risk of soaking the person sitting in front of him which I don't think would go down well with their customers in the pictures at the same time!

We always take our own drinks and snacks - Peter Kay said his family did until his Mum spilt the coffee from the flask all over his beige trousers! They can't see what your doing in the dark anyway!
