Hi all,
With Carers Week and the New Deal for Carers launch today, there is a lot of coverage of carers' issues at the moment.. here is mix of some of it so far, in case you want to read / watch again - Michele

Tue 10 Jun 2008 17:33I also saw Mr Fox on BBC News24 this afternoon.
I was very disappointed that he was so supportive of the Strategy regarding respite. He didn't mention the fact that it has been drastically cut back over the last few years. In some cases it is almost non-existent and for the majority of us 2 x nothing = nothing.

Thu 12 Jun 2008 10:05BBC Radio Newcastle have also been interviewing carer's this week. You can access radio Newcastle on their web site and also have a listen again in case you miss the show.
