I am not always able to go into chat and when I went the other night I too could not get into chat tryed many times no luck so I went into messager to see who's online to chat but no one there too so went into forum4 and guess what yipee found someone so like fen said try other s coffeex

sorry to change the subIject but I have had many problems with Facebook
I had a very bad virus a few weeks ago it seemed the computor was ok it just froze at a certain point- 3mins coming on.
I did a short / long scan even my son who works in IT did another scan etc but it still froze so my daughter reboot it and started to use avant browser it not only solved the problem but its much better/ faster but I did wondered how or where I got the virus as I have antivirus but as soon as I went into facebook few min's later avanti antivirus warned me of 4 virus so it quarrentined them so now I know where likely I got so many virus's So I suggest make sure you have a good antivirus when you use F Book its not as safe as this site coffeex

I use Kaspersky and did a scan this week and found nothing untoward on my system. I use the internet a lot for research, browsing, networking and shopping so a good antivirus is essential.
AVG is a free download at download.cnet.com [this is a safe and trusted download site] that does a good protective job but slows your computer down considerably especially at startup and doesnt offer as good protection I have found as Kaspersky. Got mine for £7 from The Works - it was 2008 but could upgrade to 2009 for free!

Well I was intending to reply to Fenlander but the post appears to have gone.
Staff at the Princess Royal Site are members of chill and I was not aware that there were any problems.
We have a chatroom and you would be welcome angie.

I dont understand either Wendy?!? Apparently there is a Berlin wall required - must have been before my time but cant see the problem in allowing some friendly exchange between the two factions. Perhaps a peace treaty? At the risk of pushing the boundaries too far:-

We may not ALL necessarily believe in the afterlife but up until that point I think we could all unite in the message of St.Frances' prayer for peace.
I have said it before when people are finding differences with each other but what we need is to find our common ground and unite because caring is a lonely and stressful life without arguing with people on top of it.

Well there seems to be some thawing in the situation as the message Sam has given me is "As for other forums, we don’t allow hyperlinks to other carers forums. ." So without inserting a hyperlink to make it easy to link across I can now say that if anyone would like to chat to carers in Chill4us they would be very welcome [perhaps they could google for the web address?]
