Where does all the money go?

Since we are told that government expenditure should be justified in terms of financial return why is it that they throw money down the pan in other areas:-

www.dailymail.co.uk
And thats found in just one day from the Daily Mail!!!!!
Not surprising then that we are in the mess we are in but how long until we can get the idiots out of government and get some decent honourable people [of which there are some already in government] to run the country?

A team from accountants KPMG is investigating how the money disappeared from the budget for organising the Games.Oh well, I guess we're all guilty of losing the odd 10 mill!
Just the other day i couldn't work out what I'd done with the other 10 mill when I went shopping; I could only account for the first 90 million.
