Happy National Stress Awareness Day

to all my fellow carers.

I'm sure that, like me, you really don't need a special day to make you aware of the stress you're under.

After the blood tests, ECG and Echocardiogram which I had yesterday (plus the 48 hour heart monitor I am currently wearing) the rather dishy cardiologist told me he thinks my symptoms could be stress-related. You don't say! Devil emoticon

Mind you, I'm sure my heart was racing when I was sitting next to him on the bed in my underwear and he was taking my pulse Big grin emoticon Blushing emoticon

Love to stop and chat but I'm supposed to be working - and I'm off to the doctor shortly ..... Blink emoticon Roll eyes emoticon

Talk about just what the doctor ordered!!! Can I have some of that please. I have to admit I have the most awful crush on my breast cancer consultant. He is very tasty. Tall, very charming, good looking and very debonair!!!!

I go all hot all over when I see him. I come out bright red in the face and tell my husband Im flushed because its so warm in the place!!!!

I had my first Aromatherpy session which is provided free of charge from my local carers centre last week. Carers are able to access this service once a year for a six week session. Unfortunately I don't get my next session until December but I do have a session the Monday before Christmas which will be very well appreciated.

Last week after I had my first session I felt like I was floating on air for a good few days afterwards. My back problem eased off for a few days too which was heaven. (Now back with avengence as I have just walked to the firework display and back again which often agrivates it)

Would ain't it be wonderful if the NHS provided this service to ease stress which often leads to depression. I do feel it would save this country a small fortune in helping to prevent rather than pumping those who are stressed and worn out with pills.

I have come to the conclusion this last week; those who are happy attract more into their lives usually nice things and those who are unhappy seem to misserible old g*ts who seem to attract less into their lives and what little they do attract it is usually not worth having.

Don't know about you I like to have more than less
