Yesterday I received a letter from benefits agency saying I'm no longer entitled to IB cos I don' t have enough points!!!!!!
I looked at copy of questions from the medical assesssment I went to & a few of the questions they've answered wrongly Cursing emoticon . I am going to ring welfare rights tomorrow for help in appealing. As if things at mo are not stressful enough! worried about son. He's not too good at mo. I am just sooo tired. want to sleep the days away.

I really understand Hippyp as I had a similar letter last week & i seriously sent me suicidal. I cannot cope with the stresses of 24/7 caring for my Mum & my own disabling condition with the scrutiny of IB etc assessments on top. It may well be admin error in our cases but it is just awful how stressful this can be. Tearful even to talk about it. Good luck

Hi Hippyp, i had a medical in May, i got a letter just last week saying i didn't have enough points and had my IB stopped. I had a different doctor than last year although my health has not changed since then, i was sent a list of questions the doctor stated he had asked me, f**** liar!!! Cursing emoticon Ninja emoticon is all i can say Angry emoticon. I recently asked the benefits agency if i could go on the 'permitted work' scheme where i could work up to 15hrs 59mins and still keep my benefit for 1 year, i do want to go back to work but wasn't sure how or if i could cope, i managed to get a part time job for 12 hours a week. Thanks to the treatment i had in my last appeal 2 years ago i have decided not to appeal this time but write a stinking letter instead. I am forced to work as much overtime as possible now and i gorra tell ya its killing me Yawn emoticon i only did 28 hours last week but in my state of health its a lot to take on, i do nothing but sleep and my son Adam is getting very frustrated with the lack of attention he is getting from me. Do appeal but make sure you have so much evidence they hopefully wont treat you like a fraud and a criminal and reduce you to tears like they did to me Yes emoticon you have your work cut out for you pet hope you have more strengh than me and take the buggers on Yes emoticon Ninja emoticon

Dibble, have you checked if you should be on DLA instead of IB?

You need to see a doctor and Citizens Advice Bureau - if getting through to CAB is hard send them an email explaining your situation then they should get someone who specialises in that area to come and see you. They are really good at advising on all the benefits you should be getting and helping with forms and letters and chasing them up!
IB is so complicated that even the people working in the office get it wrong. CAB will sort it out. Smile emoticon

TIP!!! If anyone of you 'leaks' when you cough or sneeze you have 'stress incontinence' and score 15 on IB check list Yes emoticon this will ensure your entitled to your IB, i know not everyone is the same but i had a surgical procedure called TVT to fix this :) in my case it was a waste of bloody time, oh i can cough and sneeze without having to get changed but never did i expect not to be able to pee sitting down :) i have to stand over the toilet and pull in my pelvic floor muscles otherwise i cant pee :) :) worse still it doesn't come out in a straight down line and often spurts out sideways :) :) yes thats what i said sideways!!! can you imagine the bloody mess i get myself into Laugh emoticon Blushing emoticon been like this for over 2 years and my doc said by now the TVT would have fused with my bladder so they cant help me Sad emoticon Angry emoticon
