only thing which I noticed about the budget is the 55% increase in the vodka which I use to refuel myself with when the going gets tuff!

oh no tricia....
what are we going to do Sad emoticon

I havent seen any of it- not had time to watch any tv what with uni work and a presentation to do tomorrow (on carers yippeee, dont worry guys, ill shout our corner to my lecturers)

but one of me mates said petrol going up (surprisingly enough haha) and its to do with the ending child poverty strategy or something, which i thought really strange as pretty soon we gotta take boys down to london (we're in north wales) to see specialist there.
we cannot get train etc with boys so must drive.
cost about £100 plus in petrol (not to mention how much it would cost for a motel if his mum didnt live there and we couldnt stay with her)
how is this gonna end child poverty for my kids???????????
Roll eyes emoticon
we just gonna be 100 quid down which means their desperately needed new shoes will have to wait another month.....
(of course theyre meant to get piedro boots but by the time they arrive their feet have grown another size lol)
(not saying theyre slow up here but if you say good morning to someone by the time they answer you its late afternoon).

oh sod it, wheres the other 45% of that vodka....?????

.........much much poorer. We are struggling to survive at the moment. We are only just about covering the bills. Forget luxuries, they are at the bottom of the list. We have to buy the cheapest of the cheap at the supermarkets (value brand). I cant even afford to send my kids school dinners, they have to stay sandwiches. I dont go out, i dont smoke, and i buy cheap clothes. The only thing that i buy is a bottle of wine on a friday night. Hubby smokes but as of from sunday he is giving up (hopefully). But what really got my goat today was the news report that we taxpayers are funding MP'S houses!! we are paying for them to be decorated when we are having to put our own house maintenace on hold because we cant afford to update our houses. Its so unfair. They dont give a shit about us. Cursing emoticon Cursing emoticon Cursing emoticon Cursing emoticon Cursing emoticon Cursing emoticon Cursing emoticon

hi lisa,
just a thought, and i know its not the answer and i hope oh does manage to stop smoking but if he cant has he thought about smoking duty free backi. its a lot cheaper- theres always someone around selling it and at the end of the day, if the govt dont want people to buy it duty free they shoudnt charge so much tax on it!

i remember going to spain once and bought a load of Golden virginia for about £2 a packet, but ironically it had made in
then they say that smokers cannot be treated on NHS- ha, if people didnt smoke there wouldnt be a bloody NHS.
mind you, in the saeme breath, it there wasnt carers earning less than 3rd world 'wages' ....
( Laugh emoticon that always cracks me up.... wages, my arse)....
there wouldnt be a health service either, literally!

oh happy days eh.
Lisa do u not get tax credits or owt?
