What ever your view on Police pay..

What ever your view is on police pay, at least they are able to demonstrate forcibly by marching etc,their anger and frustration. I wish we could. I am sure our numbers and our needs would far surpass theirs! So many promises ,so many disappointments,problems of every kind ,poor services, no services,loss of income ,'theft' of Carers allowance when over 60. Am sure you can think of many more.
It is a pity we didnt know they where going to march ,perhaps a few of us could have tagged on behind and made the Gov think it was a duel march for Police and Carers!!

Maybe we should consider a march in our own right!
Mind you we would have to employ some mega amounts of care services to get the time off eh!maybe we could do as the suffragettes did and throw rotten fish and bad eggs at them in parliament- (or better still the contents of the pads that our caree provide, free of charge!!!)
he he. Just the thought of it cheers me up!

Thu 31 Jan 2008 21:20Problem is we never get the TIME to protest and if we did manage it you can bet they would say if carers have enough time on their hands to go on protest marches they can`t be THAT busy. Either way you can guarantee we would be the losers AGAIN.
