Need to talk/chat room

Hi everyone,
My name's Liz and I live in Australia. I care for my husband who has multiple endocrine and other health problems all of which interact (usually negatively) with each other. I have recently lost contact with my best friend who was also a carer (we decided not to move away from family and live near her and she took offence and stopped talking to me - maybe not the best choice of a best friend
). I am reallly missing being able to talk to someone who understands how I feel about being a carer, and I can feel this impacting upon my relationship with my husband! I'm wondering if there is anyone on here who would be available to chat at a time when I'm online! Can usually be online from about 7pm Sydney time (as I get online while my husband and I are watching TV). I've been going into the chat room and there is never anyone in there!!!
Hope someone else is around sometime or I might just burst!

Some time ago we had Jorum in chat she is also an Aus; maybe Michele will pass on a messsage there if you ask her? In the meantime chat is a late starter these days; few if any in till after ten our time and you would be made very welcome there.

Mon 20 Oct 2008 14:43Hi dear a warm welcome glad you have joined the site its a brill forum but sorry to hear about your freind she was hurt when you did'nt go to live by her but she must consider your circumstances and she should'nt have stopped talking to you that was selfish of her but you will find out not only will you make new freinds here but you will find advice tips etc really helpful I have made some new freinds and its really helped me .
As for chat it is hit and miss with me and during the day is when I am on line but you can ask michelle at carersorg to give you my email address and I will email you any time all the best coffee
