Chlozaril

My son went into hospital Monday of last week to be put on chlozaril.His blood pressure was high ,so was his pulse rate so it was Wednesday before he started it..He was on low dose and was fine then he had dose increased .His blood preasure rose as did his pulse rate.Heart specialist was consulted as was the chlozaril team.I was so worried .The medical staff decided that as his blood pressure and pulse were up before he started on the drug that it must have been something else other than chlozaril that caused it .They advised to cut out caffiene and things returned to normal.Now i wonder how long his blood pressure has been so high as he always drinks "coke" and often resorts to high energy drinks to try and get some energy to do things.
