hi ya loopy yep your right the labour party got what
they asked for also also i see a repeat again with
gordon brown when he met carers and said he would
do something about benefits and carers make things right and he would listen its alright saying that
but will he do it? Yawn emoticon Yawn emoticon Roll eyes emoticon Roll eyes emoticon not a chance
i dont trust him nomore than i trusted tony blair
if you remember when tony blair run for prime minister he said the same thing and everybody voted
for him carers thought things would be done Roll eyes emoticon Roll eyes emoticon
just like the bbc they repeat themselves Big grin emoticon Big grin emoticon
they only say these things to get votes even since
then nothing has moved on we are still in limbo
nothing has improved we still get treated like
secondclass citizens and we are treated with contemt
so say gordon brown Tongue emoticon Tongue emoticon Tongue emoticon Tongue emoticon Tongue emoticon Devil emoticon Devil emoticon

I have to disagree: the last 11 years have been the best of my life, despite problems at home and this definitely has something to do with the good things labour have done in power. Carers have every right to feel let down, but let's do something positive about it! Talking to each other is a start.

Im a bit mixed on this one:
firstly, we are financially better off as we now get child tax credits but the carers allowance stinks.
I rmember bringing up my first two on my own (theyre now 17 and 19) on £44 pw. £10 was heating (which the council put on in oct and turned off in april whatever the weather, and it was crap anywaycos it was storage heating),
I used to have £12 pw for food, clothing for the kids and me, travel, toilettries etc.

i weighed 7 and a half stone (5'6" tall) cos i didnt eat.
that was a tory govt.
now we are better off- (in fact i could do with not eating as im now early 10 stone haha)

also i went to college but couldnt go to uni cos there was no help for childcare etc but now there is loads of help if i needed it.

but i still think the carers allw is an absolute disgrace!!!!!!!!!!!!
