Hello, I am a Full time carer of my Husband. I am really annoyed that our carers allownace is taxed. This really shouldnt be the case at all. He is 61 this year and will not even get a proper pension.As he has been ill since 1990. regards Amandah

the carers allw is a big joke.
you can also only get it for one person.
i used to care for both my boys but only got it for one, now my husband gets it for the younger boy but its unfair.also that its means tested and the only benefit worked for- thats a bloody liberty.
plus its less than 30 p per hour if you are a 'heavy end' carer.but hey whats we moaning about- we just got our annual pay rise: £2 pw
