after reading this lot am definately going to remain single!

But yes found it very stressful when I was my parent's carer as well as my own three, youngest autistic and learning disabilities along with the teenager hormonal tantrums.

And as they get older still no sign of them ever leaving home even if I have tried my bestest ever to be the worst mother in the world....... any tips to improve on to achieve this would be appreciated as I don't seem to be having any success.

Thanks

Only kiddin I would be lost without them but I never admit that to them or they will never grow up and I do live in hope that one day they will. Well at least it gives me something to hope for

not been on this long myself, but think you'll find lots of people all with different situations, but who know how you feel. Balancing F/T work, my 13 going on I don;t know what age son who has Aspergers.

My parents help out as much as they can, but yes when they do I sometimes come home to a heap of people all not speaking or just shouting thier heads off! So yes not easy, but then that's parents and teens for you!

Found it ace getting on here, having a chat and reading stuff that made me laugh and you can think yes know how that feels! You're not on your tod ( on your own!) Smile emoticon

I would love to thank all of you who replied. God its great someone whos like me. A husband,2teenagers,1 dad,2dogs,2kids that have left home supposidly and 4 grandchildren. Theres no wonder the stress gets to carers. I've been known to go on the garden and sing loudly they know I've had enough when that happens. All these people around and I sometimes feel so alone and isolated. Keep saying I'm gonna get a job just to get out of the house more.
