I have just been asked how to apply for a carers card, by a friend of mine who is also a carer. I have never heard of this but apparently it entitles the holder to discounted/free entry into several places when the person who you care for wnats to go out and about.................anybody know anything about this? I not heard of this but if you are booking tickets or visiting places I have found that the person I care for pays and I go free as a helper. If you get carer allowance you could use the letter you got . Big grin emoticon

you can get a card from carers UK as a member which i have used in the past to prove i am a carer.

however, when i have been questioned (as my boys look normal) i just threaten to leave the boys in their care for 10 minutes and then they can judge for themselves whether or not they are disabled lol.
