respite holiday

Carers have often requested information on holiday/respite details. My son has used the Calvert Trust through his school (School trips) and has had an excellent time.

I have noted on their web site that they do provide respite for over 18 year olds. Giving a lot of adults the option of going somewhere and having specialised equipment available to enjoy outdoor activities as well as indoor activities.

I am not sure of the costing as you have to request those details for your personal circumstances but it would be worth looking at it for those who are on either direct payments or individual budgets
