Hi nic,

Welcome to Carers.org - if you want to chat to other carers directly you can go to our chat room, which is a great place to meet other carers and is usually busy in the evenings from around 7pm onwards.

There is a link 'enter the chatroom' towards the top of the Discussion boards main page (under the orange title 'Discussion boards'). Just click on this and it will take you there.

Sometimes you need to install java on your machine - if you have to do this a message will come up and you can download it for free here:

www.java.com .

Hi Nic,
I have only been using this site for a few days, and the people on here are great.I haven't come across one scary person yet.

Don't be terrified this site is soooooo friendly and the people gives out sound advice as well as having a laugh at times. Join the chat room one night and we will all be there for you.
